how’d we “do” vs. the Bucs?

I don’t rush to praise or diss the team.  This is a building and learning year.

My expectation was 8-8.  Now it’s less.  Why?  Because OLman Lane Johnson is worth 1 win, maybe 2.  And he may miss 60% of the regular season.

But last week my biggest observation was the lack of offense.

Yea, we scored twice.  Quickly.

But the D set those up with turnovers.

QB Sammy (yay!) looked good.  I hope he gives us 16 games.  As goes Sam goes the Eagles.

So if we have more of a consistent offense tonight I’ll see that as a big plus for the season ahead.
